UltraScope® is a pressure-sensitive
stethoscope for assessment of heart/lung sounds in animals. Varying the
pressure allows you to obtain high and low frequency sounds. Use light
pressure for low frequency sounds; heavy pressure for high frequency sounds.
The UltraScopeTM
head is machined from an extremely crack-resistant modern plastic. The
head, tubing and binaural assembly filters external noises while amplifying
heart/lung sounds without batteries or electronics. Tubing is non-latex
PVC and is 21" in length. Frequency range 20-35 kHz. Total length is approximately
29". Weight is less than 4.5 ounces.
